Title:
Oneiric alpha-1 cannot manually partition with too small btrfs
  partition

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  Using the alpha-1 oneiric-desktop-amd64.iso on VirtualBox on a 10.6
Mac, partitioning the system as follows:

  /boot 128 MB btrfs
  swap 512 MB
  / 16 GB btrfs

The /boot partition fails to be formatted. It appears the error is:

Jun 14 01:21:30 ubuntu partman: device /dev/sda1 is too small (must be
  at least 256 MB)

I believe the installer should warn about this.

  This is with ubiquity 2.7.4.

Even besides this, at this point, the installer's dialog cannot be
closed and it basically becomes useless. The easy way to recover is
  to reboot off the CD.
