Title:
gpartedbin assert failure: *** glibc detected ***
/usr/sbin/gpartedbin: double free or corruption (fasttop):
0x00007f2e2c02cc50 ***
Status in “gparted” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gparted
Tried to resize the Ubuntu ext4 / partition:
swapoff
deleted the following on disk swap partition
extended the / partition with some part of the swap partition
created another swap partition for the remaining space left
applied changes
gparted started to apply the changes, I think it got over checking for
problems on the / partition, then it closed unexpectedly.
