This looks.... interesting. I'd ask for a compressed raw e2image dump
(see the REPORTING BUGS section of the e2fsck man page), but given that
this is approximately a 1.4TB file system, it's going to be pretty huge.
Still if you're willing to make that available to me, or if it's
possible to give me the ability to access the file system directly
(i.e., root access), let me know off-line. The latter has all sorts of
security implications, and so I'd normally wouldn't ask, but this does
look like a real e2fsck bug, and it's one I haven't seen before, and so
I'd really like to track it down.
The other alternative is I could give you a whole host of debugfs and
gdb debugging requests and possibly requests to build debugging versions
of e2fsck, but that's problematic as well, given the latencies of trying
to do this via e-mail. Probably the best is the compressed raw e2image
dump, if you could manage it.
