Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  It was trying to remove conflicting system files, but failed to do so.
  Attached are the log files.
  It also results in the machine not able to recognize the previous installation. So this is a serious problem for normal users.
