** Changed in: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

** Changed in: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
     Assignee: (unassigned) => kahrytan (kahrytan)

** Description changed:

  Failure to provide hardware support for Viewsonic VA1916w. Problems from
- Splash screen graphical issues to now recent Out of Range error.
-
- Graphics driver is to be left out of the picture on this issue. Because
- open source and close source have same graphical issues. So do not have
- ask for it because you will not get it.
-
- On previous releases, Ubuntu failed to set correct resolution on several
- occasions.
-
- I took a video of the start-up procedure. First picture was manual GDM startup from Recovery mode.
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgJnEXbMGiM
-
- I am downgrading to Ubuntu 10.10 for a usable system so i am unable to
- add more details.
-
- Look at my previous videos detailing Ubuntu failures
-
- Ubuntu 10.10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvkaAvJCT_s
-
- The problem is NOT GRAPHICS DRIVER. Its deeper then that.
+ Splash screen  graphical issues
