Binary package hint: apt-clone
The installation of 11.04 over 10.04 was at the point of trying to
reinstall software from the 10.04 installation. For reasons unknown to
me, it was reported that an error had occurred with one of the
packages. I don't know what it was. I was installing from the 11.04
desktop live amd64 written to a USB thumb drive.
