Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  When attempting to boot Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 3, it just randomly crashes
  before it can ever get to the desktop. Using a Pentium 4 processor, PC
  was bought in '06.
