Title:
software center is not showing apps popularity

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

When I open the software center and I click, for example, in
accesories, I see a list of 336 items.

I don't know the default sorting option, and I cannot choose to sort
by popularity - which Ubuntu collects (http://popcon.ubuntu.com/).
This makes the software center unusable, am I really supposed to go
through hundreds of item to check what apps are available?

In previous versions this was possible but now the option is either
  missing or hidden. Thanks.
