Title:
iinet users default to "Server for Australia".
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
I understand that the Server for Australia is outside the iinet
freezone, so there is little benefit to iinet users in picking this
mirror over an international mirror. It would be much better to pick
the iinet mirror http://ftp.iinet.net.au/pub/ubuntu/
This occurs with Lucid, Natty and iirc Oneric Alpha 1.
The output from whois for an iinet ip address, is as follows:
inetnum: 203.59.0.0 - 203.59.255.255
netname: IINET-AU
descr: iiNet Limited
descr: Level 6, Durack Centre
