@Chris -- The BIOS is A04, which is between the other machines (X11 and
A06). Should I try to update the bios and see if that fixes the issue?
It has the same cpu and graphics as David's

Title:
  [Vostro 130] Installation freezes

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When installing by PXE boot or by usb, the installer will freeze consistently with natty (beta2 image). The installer will not freeze with the maverick image. The point at which the installer freezes does not seem to be consistent.
