Thank you for looking at the bug.  However since I reported it, I've
acquired a new computer and am running Mint 10.  Sorry for not updating
the bug report so that you wouldn't waste time looking at it but with no
activity, it totally slipped my mind.

So along with Mint 10 and Open Office (gotta upgrade that), it is
"Goodbye Microsoft" and I am happy.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  Mint crashed at 94% completed in the install process. I attached a
  screen shot of the error window, but can't figure out how to attach
  syslog and partman.  I've saved them and can email them to you if you
  need to see them.  I"ll try to install again although I don't know why
  I should expect a better result without changing anything.
