Title:
Can not install into my portable harddrive

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I want to install ubuntu 10.04 into a portable harddrive. Not just
liveUSB, but a real OS installed in my portable harddrive that can be
  booted via USB.

The problem happened on the very last step, which summarize the
information to install. After I click the button "install". The
window just disappeared, not showing any error message or installing
  window
