  Installation stalls when retrieving packages if the Internet
  connection is broken

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  Installing Maverick Alpha 3 candidate (Desktop i386)

  At the end of the installation, when it tries to retrieve packages from the Internet, it stalls completely. 
  If I click "Skip" the installation continues, but it should have given the user a proper message.
