Title:
Should switch bootloader default to device for /boot when the latter
  is selected as a mountpoint

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

when installing I created partitions manually as follows
  a 209mb /boot
  a 11gb /
  a 2.3gb swap
  and a 135gb /home

the installer said it could not mount /boot

I went back to the partition table and selected to install the mbr
onto /boot the default was /dev/sda i changed it to /dev/sda1
