Title:
cannot install ubuntu 10.10 from a usb pendrive

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

Hi..I had problems with my vista (i get bad sectors error whenever i
start it)..I decided to get ridoff vista and install ubuntu 10.10 from
pen drive( 1.8 GB)..I tried to install linux on the entire hard drive
deleting all previous partitions and vista..It was going fine until I
got to removing swap memory( not sure of the wording) ,there the
system took too much time so I lost patience and simply restarted my
system...Now when i try to reinstall ubuntu again , it gets to the
second screen of installation process( "preparing to install ubuntu"
with checkmarks on minimum 2.6 GB drive space and stuff) and seems to
stop from doing anything ,Iam able to do my other work on computer but
the installation just doesn't continue at all..
