Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply and the screenshot. If the checkbox appears for every
section, that does indeed solve my problem. For example, if I have a "Wine
Team PPA" and a "Banshee Team PPA" is it possible to deselect individual PPA
groups or does the checkbox apply only to -all- PPAs such that unticking
the checkbox would untick all PPA updates for every PPA listed?
Thanks,
- Sam

Option to deselect all packages on a "per-program basis" would be
helpful
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager
At present if a user right clicks on the list of updates they're able to "check all" or "uncheck all". It would be very helpful to allow the user to uncheck updates related to a specific piece of software in this same, quick way. This could accomplished by changing the context menu if a user right clicks on a software heading (e.g. "Banshee Team PPA"). The context menu could then provide an additional option similar to "uncheck all software updates for [progam name]".
