I'm sorry to correct you but the issue hadn't been fixed in the
currently distributed ISO's

Download alternate:
- choose german
- auto detect keyboard (german no deadacute)
- US layout kept in install
- US layout kept after install

** Changed in: console-setup (Ubuntu)
       Status: Fix Released => Confirmed
