I have flashplugin64-installer (and presume that is why I have flash OK
in firefox). However, having USC try and intercept an installation and
then not tell me why it doesn't have anything for me to install sounds
like a bug.
Manually installing the latest 64 bit beta into
/opt/google/chrome/plugins has achieved what I need - I have
10.0.648.204 installed, but can't easily tell if it is the most up-to-
date.

Title:
Fail when installing afobe flash on amd64
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I try to install adobe flash from Adobe's website. The APT install is
intercepted by Ubuntu software centre, but that then tells me that
'there isn't a current software package called "Adobe flashplugin" in
your current software sources.'
Clearly, I should be trying to install the correct 64 bit beta version
instead, but USC isn't helping to make this any more obvious. The
reason I am installing it is that Chrome doesn't seem to have flash
working any more after my recent upgrade.
