Title:
segmentation fault when trying to write a 10.10 alternate usb stick in
  10.10

Status in “usb-creator” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: usb-creator

  I use 10.10, and usb-creator 0.2.25. I run 'sudo usb-creator-gtk' from
the terminal because of some permission issues with the usb stick. The
  stick is 8G.

I am trying to produce a 10.10 alternate usb stick. It gets all the
way to the bootloader install, but there it just crashes and it simply
says 'segmentation fault' in the terminal.

I don't really know where to look for logs, but let me know where to
fetch them and I can provide some more details perhaps.
