To exit without Killing the main power was to select suspend then wake
the PC back from suspend mode caused the interface to close the
Bootloader install window and the Installation failed window opens with
message:

"The installer encountered an unrecoverable error. A desktop session
will now be run so that you may investigate the problem or try
installing again."

When 'OK' was clicked the screen went black then the desktop session
opens. In this desktop session it appears nothing works,

Many MAJOR BUGS found in the desktop session after a failed install.

Opened Firefox

Title:
Unable to Install GRUB and Bootloader Install failed

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Ubuntu 11.04 x64 Desktop and Server - Natty Narwhal Final Release.

Unable to Install GRUB and Bootloader Install failed.

  First Error:

Unable to install GRUB in /dev/sda
   Executing 'grub-install /dev/sda' failed.
   This is fatal error.

After clicking the 'OK' button, then:

Sorry, an error occurred and it was not possible to install
the bootloader at the specified location.

  I have these choices:

-Choose a different device to install the bootloader on:
  /dev/sda
  /dev/mapper/isw_dgaeechagi_Raid0 Linux device-mapper (striped) (750.1)
  /dev/mapper/isw_dgaeechagi_Raid0p1
  /dev/mapper/isw_dgaeechagi_Raid0-2 Linux device-mapper (striped) (750.2)

  I even tried:
  /dev/dm-0
  /dev/dm-2
  /dev/dm-3
  /dev/dm-4

  -Continue without a bootloader
  -Cancel the installation

Any thing I manually typed or selected the 'OK' is grayed out.
Bootloader can not continue regardless of the 3 selections.

I deleted the Raid and reassembled it.
The same error occurs but the selection changed a hair:
  /dev/mapper/isw_cdjdcjeeci_Raid0-1 Linux device-mapper (striped) (750.2)
  /dev/mapper/isw_cdjdcjeeci_Raid0-1p1
  /dev/mapper/isw_cdjdcjeeci_Raid0-2 Linux device-mapper (striped) (750.1)

Notice the device appears in the Disk Utility as:
   /dev/dm-0
   /dev/dm-2
   /dev/dm-3
   /dev/dm-4

Disk Utility reports the SATA Host Adapter:
  Vendor: Intel Corporation
  Model: 82801 SATA RAID Controller
  Revision: -
  Driver: ahci
  Fabric: Serial ATA
  Number of Ports: 6

  See Attached Photos of screen.
I am unable to open a file browser during the install to attach logs or files. I will attempt after I submit this to enter a desktop environment if I can some how get the Bootloader install failed window to close and goto the next step.
Note: This bug report can only except single files. I hope the logs still exist after.
