Title:
  Install issue with postinst-script

Status in “python2.7” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The postinst-script does not use absolute path for the python2.7 binary. If you have another python2.7 binary in your path, it chooses this one.
  Example:
I had a python2.7 binary compiled and installed into /usr/local/bin, and when I tried to apt-get install --reinstall python2.7 it chose /usr/local/bin/python2.7 to byte-compile the modules. This failed, since it was a different version of python2.7 (Minor version).
