While not a test case mvo mentions the following in

"Here is the error:

dpkg: ../../src/filesdb.c:528: findnamenode: Assertion `(*pointerp)->name[0] == '/'' failed.
dpkg: error processing libssl0.9.8 (--configure):
 package libssl0.9.8 is already installed and configured"

and:

"So first the unpack failed, then the apt got confused over the
subsequent needed configures"

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: dpkg

  For yet unknown reasons packages fail to install with an error like:

  dpkg: error processing flashplugin-installer (--configure):
   package flashplugin-installer is already installed and configured

  without further error.
  This is a "one time" failure. Another run of the installation doesn't produce any error.

  Users reporting this error are also experiencing bug 545790 and bug
  545738 .
