  cairo problem

Status in “dpkg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  error occurred when performing the upgrade from ubuntu desktop 8.10 to ubuntu desktop 9.04.
  I guess it could have been related to a network connection failure, since I have been upgrading the night before from ubuntu desktop 8.04 to ubuntu desktop 8.10.

  Now everything seems to be working, including internet connection.

  Additionally, I got a "problem while loading OAFIID:Deskbar_Applet"
  (which may not be related, but solved this last problem following the
  steps from this page:
