acpi-support is unrelated to suspend / hibernate; reassigning to pm-
utils.
It may be helpful if you provide the output of 'dmesg' here as well.

Bug description:
When I replace the shutdown command with hibernate in the power button
script the system never suspends when pressing the power button.
Running the power button script outside of acpid works fine.
