[Bug 811874] [NEW] casper should depend on lzma

Public bug reported:
/usr/bin/update-initramfs is a symlink to /usr/share/casper/casper-update-initramfs
If /cdrom/casper/initrd.lz exists, the initial ramdisk is compressed using lzma. That package was not available in a Live session.
Two solutions are available:
1. Depend on lzma
2. Check if lzma compression is available and otherwise stick to gzip
I booted from a Kubuntu 11.04 Natty Live CD and used the `toram` option to speed up the Live session.
To reproduce it:
1. boot into a Live CD (with the `toram` option?)
2. update the packages list: sudo apt-get update
3. upgrade the system: sudo apt-get upgrade
update-initramfs is triggered by plymouth or initramfs-tools:
initramfs-tools
plymouth
plymouth-label
plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text
plymouth-theme-kubuntu-text
The error message was (the last two lines have been translated from
Dutch):
update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
/usr/sbin/update-initramfs: 20: lzma: not found
dpkg: error while processing initramfs-tools (--configure):
subproces installed post-installation script returned error code 127
Version:
ii casper 1.265 Run a "live" preinstalled system from read-only media
** Affects: casper (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
