Sorry, what do you mean "NFS client"?  The messages you're quoting are
from a kernel log, and refer to the startup of an nfs *server*.

The NFS server should be started as soon as the system enters runlevel
2, which happens as soon as the filesystem is mounted and the loopback
network interface is up.  Neither of these should normally take 50
seconds, but hardware-specific delays in mounting the filesystem could
certainly introduce a delay.  Could you please show a /var/log/kern.log
from this system after booting with '--verbose' on the kernel command
line, so we can see what upstart says is going on during that 50 second
interval?
