Does this laptop have an Intel Motherboard or is it something else.
Seems like acpid is not using the correct drivers

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.04 (32 bit) on a HP EliteBook 6930p.

  Hibernate (suspend-to-disk) produces the errors below (sometimes
  multiple times) and occasionally completely hangs the system - in
  which case it has to be powered off, losing all session data.
