trying to install a particular package due to a lack of free space on
your system.  Please resolve this situation manually and try to install
the package again.

Bug description:
  I opened the K Package kit and tried to download bug fixes and updates.
  I am using a 16gig toshiba usb stick as my ubuntu 10.04 system and there is about 14.5gig remaining but a message popped up and stated that there was only a couple of hundred mg remaining.
  It said that it had encountered a problem and couldn't continue.
