I found those directories in the queuediff output, which grabs the
launchpad-generated debdiff from the unapproved queue (such as
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+queue?queue_state=1 ). update-
manager is now in the rejected queue, but you can still see the
launchpad-generated diff: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/74739460/update-
manager_1%3A0.150.2_1%3A0.150.3.diff.gz

update-manager in Oneiric has an apport package hook and this should
be SRU'ed to Natty.
TEST CASE:
1) Execute 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal
2) In the resulting apport dialog notice that 'DpkgTerminalLog.txt' is not included in the bug report
3) Don't report the bug
Install the new version of update-manager from natty-proposed
1) Execute 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' in a terminal
2) In the resulting apport dialog notice that 'DpkgTerminalLog.txt' is included in the bug report
