Title:
[nVidia Corporation G86 [GeForce 8400M GT]] bootscreen looks ugly

Status in The Linux Kernel:
  New
Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
My bootscreen looks more kind of abstract art, but no logo is
identifiable. I just see colored blocks and lines. I did not change
any bootscreen configuration. This seems to be a regression, because
the bootscreen looked much better with the last Ubuntu version.
