It would be good if you could take a photograph of your boot screen and
post it here. There was a common problem with the splash screen being
corrupt but I thought it had been solved with most graphics cards. The
photo would determine if it's the same sort of visual problem or
something else.

My bootscreen looks more kind of abstract art, but no logo is
identifiable. I just see colored blocks and lines. I did not change
any bootscreen configuration. This seems to be a regression, because
the bootscreen looked much better with the last Ubuntu version.
