I left kubuntu lucid for a year ;)
Anyway, the memory was OK.

  hi all, when I was installing kubuntu lucid beta 1 from USB, in the menu of partition editor, I created 2 partition ext4 with point of mount "/" and "/home". when I confirmed this with the second partition, this window appeared:
