Can you give me more details on what exactly is failing?

>From what you describe, you can get into ldm but can't login. This is
usually solved by the two commands you mentioned.

Can you attach /var/log/auth.log from the server? This might give me a
clue as to what's happening there.

Status in “ltsp” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,
  When I try to boot via PXE I get FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/....
  I tried
  sudo ltsp-update-sshkeys
  sudo ltsp-update-image
  but It didn't helped.
  I get the Login-Screen, but It says the password is wrong.

  I use:
  Edubuntu: 10.10
