Can't install Ubunto Studio 9.10 on Parallels 5 on Snow Leopard
Status in “initramfs-tools” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: debian-installer
It was the 9.10 alternate iso that i downloaded directly from the Ubuntu site. I get all the way through install, then when it reboots on it's own this is what the latest screen said:
sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0 (661)
svgalib: Cannot open /dev/mem.
Gave up waiting for root device. common problems:
Boot args (cat/proc/cmdline)
Check rootdelay (did the system wait long enough?)
Check root (did the system wait for the right device?)
Missing modules (cat/proc/modules; ls/dev)
ALERT: /dev/disk/by/uuid/efc45292-a4f3-4860-bb41-ab9550f33b61 does not exist.Dropping to a shell!
BusyBox v1.13.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-1ubuntu7) built-in shell (ash)
