[Bug 805421] Re: software-center crashed with TypeError in decode(): expected string or buffer

exactly the same as Michael Harden wrote, the system states that the
program has crashed but it is still working just fine, the only thing
not working is the "recommendations", when I click on those nothing
happens and I consider this to be a small thing.
