Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubuntu-minimal

  netcat-openbsd from ubuntu-minimal doesn't work with the echo command.

  netcat-traditional from Universe repository works but you have to
  remove netcat-openbsd, which depends on ubuntu-minimal.
