Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  "An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.  This
  can be cause by:  *Upgrading to a  pre-relase version of Ubuntu
  *Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu *Unofficial
  software packagers not provided by Ubuntu.  If none of this  applies,
  then please report this bug against the 'update-manager' packager and
  include the files in /var/log/dis-upgrade/ in the bugreport."

  Attempting to upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 by using the alternate install
  CD without internet.  Previous bug fix (245114) did not fix my
  problem.
