Title:
Check/Uncheck updates from ppa inverts selection of packages

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
If i uncheck or check a PPA in the updatemanager view than the
selection setting of all the packages under that particular PPA will
only be inverted. While that is correct most of the time it is not
  correct in the following situation:

Deselect a package from a PPA.
  Deselect the entire PPA

Result: The unselected packages are now selected. The previously
selected packages are now (correctly) deselected.

Suggestion: Unselecting a PPA must not simply invert the settings of
all underlying packages. It must also check what the current setting
is and keep this into account. If the package is already deselected ->
  do nothing.

Same goes for reselecting a PPA.
