Title:
convert -compress jpeg segfaults
Status in “imagemagick” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in “imagemagick” package in Debian:

Bug description:
Binary package hint: imagemagick
I was affected by Bug #455740 (which is still not fixed in karmic) so
I installed Lucid's version. However even if this new version is able
to convert multiple files to one pdf file without crashing, it still
crashes if you add -compress jpeg.
This was working fine in jaunty.
convert vhetredzac.gif vhetredzac2.gif 1.pdf
-> works
convert -compress jpeg vhetredzac.gif vhetredzac2.gif 1.pdf
Segmentation fault
