Title:
after-upgrade obsolete software removal: Fetching and installing the
upgrade can take several hours....
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager-core
when updating from maverick to natty, after the upgrade completes and
obsolete sofware is being detected, this shows up:
YYY packages are going to be removed.

I find this message rather confusing. Nobody is going to download, install and upgrade anything.
The messages makes no sense.
