Sorry that the report got long unattended. This seems a dependency
problem that probably got fixed. Please feel free to reopen by marking
the status to "new" if this issue is seen again with current versions of
Ubuntu.

  1. Using Sun Sept 7 intrepid image
  2. Ran the script from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MobileTeam/Mobile/HowTo/ImageModification
  3. apt-get update
  4. apt-get dist-upgrade ->

  Unpacking replacement update-manager-core ...
  dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/update-manager-core_1%3a0.93.7_lpia.deb (--unpack):
   trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/UpdateManager/Common/__init__.py', which is also in package update-manager-hildon
