Bug description:
  Had 11.10 on a v old dell precision M50, but appeared slow compared with 11.4, looking at the set up it lookrd as if there was a better nvidia driver available, but when I tried it I got a black screen, so I thought I'd just go back to 11.04, Crashed 'bout 2/3ds way through I think.
