Actually because the reporter mentions the alternate CD images the
correct package is debian-installer.

** Package changed: ubiquity (Ubuntu) => debian-installer (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Wishlist

Title:
  Installation process should support avahi/bonjour announced
  proxy/caches

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Hi,

  ubuntu supports the automatic detection of apt caches announced
  through avahi/bonjour (see package squid-deb-proxy-client ).

  Unfortunately, the installation process (using the alternate cdrom iso
  images) does not support this. Would be nice if the installation could
  automatically detect such a cache and use that as a default value when
  asking for the proxy (and put squid-deb-proxy-client on the list of
  packages to be installed then).

  regards
