Title:
  cryptdisks shows password booting

Status in “cryptsetup” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I upgraded my laptop to Oneiric, made some LVM volumes, and designated
  one as a LUKS cryptdisk. When booting, it asks for the password. As
  I'm typing the password, its letters appear to the right of "· · ·
  ·" which is below "Xubuntu 11.10". When the splash screen program
  rewrites "· · · ·", the next letter of the password appears right
  after the "·", making it useless if I needed to see what I'm typing,
  which I don't.

  $ cat /etc/crypttab
  # <target name>	<source device>		<key file>	<options>
  crypt		/dev/mapper/vg1-crypt	none		luks

  cryptdisks version 2:1.1.3-4ubuntu2

  Once I type in the password, the OS mounts the filesystem and it
  behaves normally.
