Title:
ethdetect fails trying to load firmware patch rt18168d-2.fw
Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have been trying to netboot from the daily precise images. I've
noticed for build 2011-12-05 alternate i386 one of the test systems,
(Dell Vostro 3400) fails the first time it tries to detect network
hardware.
I can select Continue, and proceed to the Ubuntu Archive selection to
manually use my local image mirror.
This also happens when booting from usb.
This is causing preseed installations to halt as well.
