Title:
Upgrading to Oneiric Ocelot (xubuntu) broke brazilian keyboard
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I upgraded my xubuntu netbook to Oneiric Ocelot and accents no longer work
in my brazilian ABNT2 keyboard (Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800).
The ç key still works. The problem exists both in gvim and firefox/gmail
so it does not look like these programs are in any way related to the bug.
I even tried removing the brazilian keyboard (from the Keyboards Layout)
and installing it again but nothing seemed to change. When I try to type
tilde-a I just get a and similarly for other accents.
