Title:
hangs during first boot after install (Lubuntu Precise Alpha1 amd64)

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Lubuntu Precise Alpha1 amd64 desktop CD. Attempting test case umi-001
  at http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Install/DesktopManual . This is
being done in VirtualBox. I manually created a 5000MB / partition and
a 1.4GB or so swap. No other partitions.

Installation itself proceeded as expected, but reboot after install
resulted in screen flipping many times between text mode and graphical
X screen with mouse pointer, then a wait, then messages about tasks
being blocked for more than 120 seconds. Screenshot of those messages
  is attached.

Expected: Boot into Lubuntu graphical login screen.

Actual: Never got there. Was able to use Alt-F2 and log in to a text
console and type ubuntu-bug ubiquity to create this bug report.
