So, the USC search widget just needs to use edit-find-symbolic rather
than edit-find. Thanks Paul.

  Wrong icon for search in Software Center

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  See the screenshot. The icon in the search bar of the new  Software
  Center is not the default icon used in all the other GNOME
  applications.

  Also, in the Software Center the icon in the bar is on the left. In
  all the other applications it is on the right.

  Found in version 4.1.20
