This bug was fixed 14 hours ago, it might be the updated package has not gotten to the mirrors yet. 
The system is not instantaneous, even though we all want it to be. I would say this should be working within 48 hours. It should not be necessary to reinstall Oneiric to get the fix, just patience.

Bug description:
  Upgraded to oneiric with errors, the system is broken.
  Whenever I try to install or reinstall packages I get debsums errors and can't perform the operation(see below). Moreover, since installing updates for banshee and firefox, they don't work anymore because they freeze on startup and eat %100 CPU!!! (See #830012 for banshee)
