   apps shortcuts in Dash do not work

Status in “dash” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After clicking on the Dash icon, none of the top row (Media Apps,
  Internet Apps, More Apps and Find Files) work. Clicking on them just
  closes Dash. This is not the expected behaviour. Everything else in
  Dash appears to work correctly.

  No crash is reported by Apport and I am not sure where to get the
  relevant logs. Had a quick look in var/log/ but nothing dealing with
  Dash jumped out at me.
